Saka South Sesulu Find Gas
Division of Oil and Gas Exploration SKK announced that the PSC Saka South Sesulu has found gas in wells SIS-A # 1, South Sesulu Work Area, East Kalimantan. This discovery could potentially increase the country's gas reserves reached 1.2 trillion cubic feet (TCF).
The first exploration well drilling in SIS-A # 1 was drilled on December 23, 2014. The well is located offshore in the Kutai Basin with a final depth of 8,200 feet total vertical deep subsea (TVDSS FT).
Cooperation Contract Working Area South Sesulu signed May 5, 2009. Initially working area previously operated by HESS (Indonesia-South Sesulu), to switch on the current operator Saka South Sesulu Indonesia, which is a subsidiary of PT PGN.
