Pertamina, Pelindo II Synergy and the ASDP Serve Fuel for Ships

PT Pertamina (Persero) signed an agreement with PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) and PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) in terms of synergy for the development and utilization of fuel for marine transportation infrastructure, Thursday (28/5). This cooperation is in line with the government program as it supports the interconnection between islands in the archipelago (Toll of the Sea), as well as increase national energy security.

The signing was done by President Director Dwi Soetjipto Pertamiana, Director of Pelindo II, RJ Lino, and Director of ASDP Indonesia Danang S. Baskoro witnessed by the Minister of SOEs Rini Soemarno.
  Together with Pelindo II, the collective agreement covering the development of investment, development, and operation of the fuel terminal at the same time supplying fuel products to ships, especially those who will stop at the Port of New Priok, Kalibaru, owned Pelindo II. Fuel terminal to be constructed in the early stages planned capacity of 500,000 KL. As for cooperation with the ASDP include providers of petroleum products and lubricants for the ferry which operates throughout the ASDP operational areas in Indonesia.

SOE Minister Rini Soemarno said, than to make profits, SOE is an arm of the government to boost development. Synergies between Pertamina and Pelindo II and the ASDP is one model of how cooperation between SOEs can contribute to development, particularly the fuel infrastructure that will support the national energy security.
